M35A2 Donaldson 4.00" Air Ram Intake Snorkel

If you are looking to increase the airflow to your LDT multifuel and lower your EGT's your come to the right place. The Donaldson Air Ram snorkel provides increased cold air intake flow via the "Ram Air" affect while separating moisture and draining it away. A screened inlet provides protection against large debris. Being up in the clean air stream  the Donaldson snorkel increases air pressure to the air filter canister at much lower road speeds, unlike the old ram air systems found on early muscle cars. We've seen lower EGT's at as little as 35 mph. For heavy snow conditions it's a 5 minute swap back to your standard mushroom cap should you need it.

How it works...

1. Moisture and dust laden air enters Air Ram
2. Airborne water droplets and dust are forced against the back of the Air Ram
3. Moisture and dust drains down past the top of the inlet pipe to be expelled out the drain holes
4. Pre cleaned and virtually moisture free air passes into the air cleaner housing.

Installation Note: All Air Ram inlet hoods MUST be installed with the screen facing forward to ensure best performance. Airflow restriction will not be reduced if the Air Ram faces sideways; but if it faces backwards, restriction does increase and adversely affects engine performance. Air Ram must be fitted over the air inlet tube so the stops are touching the end of the tube.
